　　平遙位于中國(guó)山西省中部，是一個(gè)有著2700多年歷史的古老城市。它是明淸時(shí)期漢族城市的一個(gè)典范。它的城墻、街道、住宅、店鋪和廟宇都保留得異常完好，極富特色。同時(shí)，居住在平遙的人民依然保留著許多傳統(tǒng)。這個(gè)與世隔絕的古城功能特殊、布局(layout)合理。城墻是由黑色的磚砌成，已經(jīng)經(jīng)歷了600多年的風(fēng)雨洗禮，一直保存完好。現(xiàn)在它已經(jīng)成為古城的一個(gè)標(biāo)志了。
