　　大多數(shù)時(shí)候，留守兒童(leftover children)的問題很大程度上源于缺乏父母的情感關(guān)懷。通常，孩子由祖父母或父母的朋友、親戚照顧。在大多數(shù)情況下，他們的監(jiān)護(hù)人(guardian)沒有受過很好的教育。對他們來說，確保孩子健康、吃得好是極重要的任務(wù)。只要孩子平安無事，他們就被認(rèn)為做得很好了。監(jiān)護(hù)人很少關(guān)心孩子的學(xué)習(xí)、心理需求或精神需求。他們也不花時(shí)間教孩子如何養(yǎng)成良好的習(xí)慣。

Usually, the children's grandparents or their parent's friends or relatives look after these children. In most cases, their guardians are not well educated. To them，making sure that the children are healthy and fed well is the most important task. As long as the children are safe and sound，they are considered to have done a good job. Guardians seldom care about children's study，psychological needs, or mental demands. Neither do they spend some time to teach kids how to develop good habits.
