托福作文太啰嗦水分大？避免空洞單詞詞組要這么做

　　托福寫作為了湊字數(shù)水文章的做法相信有不少同學(xué)做過，而這么做的結(jié)果是雖然文章篇幅看似達標(biāo)了，但實際內(nèi)容卻往往慘不忍睹，得分也不會很高。托福寫作既要保證篇幅字數(shù)也要避免注水，如何做到這一點，下面小編就來詳細介紹。

　　1. 缺乏信息內(nèi)容的單詞詞組請刪除

　　一些空洞的單詞或詞組根本不能為句子帶來任何相關(guān)的或重要的信息，完全可以被刪掉。比如下面的句子：

　　When all things are considered, young adults of today live more satisfying lives than those of their parents, in my opinion.

　　這句話當(dāng)中的“when all things are considered”和“in my opinion“都顯得多余。完全可以去掉。改為：

　　Young adults of today live more satisfying lives than their parents.

　　2. 空洞繁瑣表達可替換

　　有些空洞和繁瑣的表達方式可以進行替換，例如：

　　Due to the fact that our grandparents were under an obligation to help their parents, they did not have the options that young people have at this point in time.

　　“due to the fact that”就是一個很典型的繁瑣的表達方式的例子，可以替換，簡化為下面的表達方式：

　　Because our grandparents were obligated to help their parents, they did not have the options that young people have now.

　　通過以上方式消除托福作文中的注水內(nèi)容，用更有價值和干貨的內(nèi)容填充文章，這樣的托福作文才能拿到較為理想的分數(shù)。
