　　關(guān)于gap year

　　題目：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students should spend at least one year working or traveling before they go to the university.

　　這個(gè)題目拿到手并不難，很多中國(guó)孩子甚至暗自欣喜，因?yàn)榭梢哉f大話了，首先，贊同的占了絕大多數(shù),比如：旅游可以broaden horizon，have a relaxation因?yàn)槠綍r(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)實(shí)在太辛苦了，生活也太無聊了，感覺中國(guó)孩子一直處于水深火熱之中，急需要gap year來拯救，而談到工作的好處，那也是一堆一堆的漂亮話，比如： cultivate communicational skills，teamwork spirit，leadership 等，讓具體說說怎么個(gè)培養(yǎng)這些技能了，又覺得思路拓展不開了。

　　當(dāng)然，還有不少一部分考生還會(huì)信誓旦旦的說自己從此就能找到摯愛的專業(yè)了，大學(xué)的指明燈從此亮起，感覺之前的十多年都白活了，gap year重要到不能沒有。 當(dāng)然也有較少一部分同學(xué)是反對(duì)的，大部分理由都是覺得gap了這一年，之前學(xué)的東西就容易忘記，走入社會(huì)就不想學(xué)習(xí)云云。

　　以上大家寫的如此雷同，枯燥，幼稚的原因又在哪里?因?yàn)槲覀冎袊?guó)孩子確實(shí)沒有像樣的gap year，因此必然很難寫出有道理深入人心的東西，那么我們就來普及一下這個(gè)話題的背景。

　　大家可能不清楚，gap year在國(guó)外確實(shí)很流行，以至于很多網(wǎng)站專門從事gap year的中介。
