托福寫作素材：環(huán)境類

雖說環(huán)境問題是托福獨立寫作中的熟臉，我們生活中也經常會談論到它。但就是這樣一個貌似無處不在的熱點詞，在實際寫作中論述起來卻比屌絲娶個白富美還難。有的同學一看到關于環(huán)境問題的題目就頓時覺得大腦轉速不夠喉頭發(fā)緊腸胃打結，真是不會再愛了啊，除了不亂扔不吐痰多種樹木少用煤就沒話說了啊摔!怎么辦在線等，急~~~都說了咱們有辦法。且看中國日報的報道。

既然說到環(huán)境問題，那么就讓我們來看看目前人們面臨著什么樣子的環(huán)境問題吧。面臨環(huán)境問題怎么說呢?“be faced with”?這如同滿大街的人都用iPhone一樣，托福評分老師簡直要哭了?？纯丛模粋€“hit”簡潔有力，還讓人有一種撲面而來精神一震的感覺，北京被“extended bouts of choking, acrid smog”也就是大面積的嗆人的霧霾霧霾擊中了，那這影響還能不惡劣嗎?而導致霧霾的罪魁禍首就是重工業(yè)和汽車。等等，罪魁禍首怎么說?當當當當，”key culprits”瞬間上了一個檔次有木有?

霧霾影響如此之惡劣，政府也迅速采取了措施，請聽報道：

Beijing will ban the consumption of high-polluting fuels in downtown areas by 2020, the municipal environmental protection authority said.

新聞說北京市區(qū)將要在2020年前禁止燃燒high-polluting fuels。這是北京市的一個政策，旨在大幅度降低空氣污染。這里的high-polluting fuels是指“高污染燃料”。高污染燃料的范圍包括coal, fuel oil, petroleum coke, combustible waste, biomass fuels(煤炭、燃料油、石油焦炭、可燃廢棄物、生物質燃料)等。這些燃料是北京霧霾的重要污染源之一，所以是北京市政府著重治理的對象。而且“禁止燃燒”怎么說的來著?人家用的可不是do not burn，看好了，新聞里說的是ban the consumption of。

看到這里真是對北京的明天充滿希望啊，終于可以看見不戴口罩的美女啦~~趕緊擦擦口水，講正事呢。告別了猥瑣大叔一般的高污染燃料，我們將迎來萌妹紙----清潔能源(clean energy)的時代：

Clean energy is also expected to be promoted in the capital, so that by 2017, according to a goal set by the municipal government, clean energy sources will account for at least 90 percent of all energy consumption.

新聞里明確說了，在2017年前清潔能源將占到所有能源消耗的至少90%。這可是一個真真切切的數(shù)據啊。馬克備用~~

類似的，咱們再來看看新華社的另一則新聞。

The State Council on Monday issued a guideline to promote new energy vehicles. Consumers will enjoy tax cuts to buy new energy vehicles from Sept. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2017, it said. The new policies will energize the market and boost the healthy development of the sector.

這是一條關于國家推廣新能源汽車的新聞。為了減少環(huán)境污染，新能源汽車的使用不失為一個好方法。那如何推廣呢?文中說了消費者去買車會享受減稅待遇。減稅政策的實行是為了鼓勵人們選擇新能源汽車。這樣做的好處有神馬?后面又說了，能使市場煥發(fā)活力，促進健康發(fā)展。像enjoy tax cut， energize the market 和 boost the healthy development of這些好的搭配，想想看，要是用在作文中，……簡直爽歪歪~

The environmental issue is too complex to be handled by the individual.

這個題乍一看不好寫，但是我們把剛才收集的短語直接用到寫作中，寫個段子絕對腰不酸腿不疼一口氣兩百字不喘氣兒!來吧：

To pick Beijing as an example, suffering from the extended bouts of choking, acrid smog, a vast number of residents have been diagnosed with respiratory diseases which are detrimental to their health. In order to shield themselves from the hazardous gases, citizens are impelled to wear masks when traveling outside. Additionally, the rate of traffic accidents has ascended to some extent due to the poor visibility triggered by the serious haze. Hence it is time that government should invest money in coping with the air pollution - the key culprit of respiratory diseases and other misfortunes.

On one hand, an effective solution would be banning the consumption of high-polluting fuels such as coal and oil on the ground that they generate copious toxic pollutants to the air after burning. On the other hand, provided that 90% of energy consumption is clean energy like solar or wind energy, renewable and environment-friendly, air quality will be enhanced tremendously in Beijing. Furthermore, stricter laws should be enacted to curb the amount of vehicle exhaust fumes and preferential policies should be implemented to subsidize the enterprises that are involved in clean energy. Had they enjoyed tax cuts, those businesses would have been more vigorous and resilient in the midst of stiff competition. Definitely these governmental measures are highly likely to energize the market and boost the healthy development of clean-energy industries.

簡單的短語和數(shù)據，不但列出了環(huán)境問題的危害，原因，也說明了要解決環(huán)境問題，靠個人還真的解決不了，需要政府從政策、技術上去解決。怎么樣?是不是瞬間覺得文章高大上了?
