中國應進一步發(fā)展核能，因為核電項目只占其總發(fā)電量的2%。該比例在所有核國家中居第30位，幾乎是最低的。
2011年3月日本核電站事故后，中國的核能開發(fā)停了下來，中止審批的核電站，開展全國性的核安全檢查。到2012年10月，審批才又謹慎地恢復。
隨著技術和安全措施的改進，發(fā)生核事故的可能性完全可以降低到最低程度。換句話說，核能是可以完全開發(fā)和利用的。

China should further develop nuclear energy, because the nuclear power project only takes up 2% of its gross power generation. The proportion ranks the 30th among all the nuclear countries, almost being the lowest.
After the Japanese nuclear power plant accident, China ceased its nuclear power development, suspended the construction of the approved nuclear power plants, and launched national nuclear security check. The approval was not restored with great caution until October 2012.
With the improvement of technologies and security measures, the possibility of nuclear accidents can be reduced to the minimum. In other words, the nuclear power can be fully developed and utilized.
