清晨為何冷得發(fā)抖?

自然界、生物界都有它本身的特有的嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)墓?jié)律。人體的生物節(jié)律與自然節(jié)律相適應(yīng),人類才得以生存下來。地球上億萬年的晝來夜往,永不停息。人體的各種生理機(jī)能隨之建立了有規(guī)律的晝夜周期,睡眠和醒覺節(jié)律就是一例。人體的一些生理活動(dòng)晝夜之間有周期性變化。人的體溫早晨稍低,白天逐漸上升,到黃昏又高一些。這些生理變化,一天之中的波動(dòng)范圍是恒定的,周期和時(shí)鐘相似。。人類習(xí)慣于白天工作夜晚睡眠,一天24小時(shí),8小時(shí)工作,8小時(shí)睡眠,與之相適應(yīng)的是人的機(jī)體白天適宜于活動(dòng),夜晚身體機(jī)能使白天產(chǎn)生的變化得以恢復(fù)。

If you’ve ever stayed up the whole night through, you may have noticed that you begin to feel cold in the hours just before morning.

如果您有通宵熬夜的經(jīng)歷,您就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn),在清晨前的幾個(gè)小時(shí)才會(huì)開始覺得冷。

Supposing you normally go to sleep at eleven o’clock, on the night that you stay awake the shivers will hit you somewhere around four or five a.m. — just about the time when you might otherwise pull up an extra blanket and sleep for another few hours. Although people often assume that the shivers come at the coldest part of the night, the actual explanation is found within the body itself.

假如您平常11點(diǎn)睡覺,在你醒著那晚的清晨4,5點(diǎn),猛的一下您會(huì)冷得直哆嗦,熟睡時(shí)的夜晚,您就得拉來另外一床毯子,再睡幾個(gè)小時(shí)。人們想當(dāng)然的認(rèn)為是在夜晚最冷的時(shí)候會(huì)哆嗦,然而真正能解釋的是人體自身。

Sleep is one way of conserving energy. During the night, when we are inactive, it isn’t necessary to generate as much energy as we need for our daily business of moving around, finding food, and so forth. So, instead of maintaining the same temperature all day, which would waste a lot of our energy, our body temperature rises and falls in accordance to what is needed. This kind of pattern is called a circadian rhythm, because it takes one day to complete before starting over.

睡眠是節(jié)約能量的一種方式。晚上的時(shí)候,我們不會(huì)活動(dòng),就沒有必要產(chǎn)生如日常行動(dòng)以及尋找食物等所需要的那么多能量。一整天維持同樣的體溫需要耗費(fèi)大量的能量,因此,體溫會(huì)按照需要不斷的升降。這種模式因其從始至終變動(dòng)的周期為一天24小時(shí)而被被稱作晝夜節(jié)律。

The circadian temperature rhythm continues to run, regardless of whether you yourself have decided to go to sleep or not. Your body, you might say, executes the same strategy for conserving energy during what were supposed to be your off-hours. Your internal temperature descends to its lowest point late at night when you would normally have been in deep sleep. This conservation-mode is experienced by you as a creeping sensation that the room is getting colder and colder, when in fact it is your own body that is generating less and less heat.

無論是是否睡覺,體溫晝夜變動(dòng)照樣進(jìn)行。您可能會(huì)說,您自身機(jī)體在您所自認(rèn)為的休息時(shí)間也能實(shí)行節(jié)能策略。通常,體內(nèi)溫度達(dá)到最低點(diǎn)是在夜里熟睡之時(shí)。這種節(jié)能模式你感覺起來像是房間變得越來越冷,而實(shí)際上是您的機(jī)體產(chǎn)生的熱量越來越少。

Do this for several nights in a row, and your temperature rhythm will begin to adjust itself. But anytime you keep yourself awake when the body expects to be asleep, those early-morning shivers will return.

連續(xù)幾晚上熬夜,體溫節(jié)律就會(huì)開始自行調(diào)整。不過,在您醒著,而身體希望睡覺的時(shí)候,清晨那一陣哆嗦是免不了的。
