A: So, Eli, do you miss home?
 
艾麗，你想家嗎？
 
B: I'm missing home a lot actually, at the moment. I wasn't when I first arrived, because of all the excitement about being here, and everything, but since actually about a month and a half ago, my boyfriend came here for three weeks, three and a half weeks, and we went traveling around the rest of Japan, which I think is very important, if you're here, you got to do it and he was the perfect person to do it and we had loads and loads of fun, and since he's left, yeah, I've started to think about home a bit more, now living here is kind of just normal way of life and after the big excitement of having him here, you know traveling around everywhere, it's, I'm starting to think about him, my family, my friends and just you know when I ring him up they're all doing stuff that we used to do together, and it sort of makes you think about what it would be like to get home. I think I'm quite looking forward to going home now.
 
實(shí)際上我現(xiàn)在非常想家。我剛來(lái)這里的時(shí)候并不想家，因?yàn)榈竭@兒以后對(duì)所有事都感到興奮，但是一個(gè)月以前，我男朋友過(guò)來(lái)待了三個(gè)星期，三周半的時(shí)間大概，我們?nèi)ト毡酒渌牡胤睫D(zhuǎn)了轉(zhuǎn)，我認(rèn)為這非常重要，這是你來(lái)到這里你要做的事情，而他是最適合做這些事的人，我們度過(guò)了非常多的快樂(lè)時(shí)光，而他走了以后，我開(kāi)始有點(diǎn)兒想家了，現(xiàn)在我在這里過(guò)著普通的生活，在剛到這里的那種興奮過(guò)后，你知道，去所有地方游覽的那種興奮感，之后我開(kāi)始想他，想我的家人，想我的朋友，你知道，我給他打電話的時(shí)候，他們通常都在做一些以前我們經(jīng)常一起做的事情，這會(huì)令人有點(diǎn)想回家。我想我現(xiàn)在非常想回家。
 
A: OK, could you, this is very interesting. Could you describe your boyfriend? Like what kind of person is he? How did you meet?
 
好，你能……這真的非常有意思。你能形容一下你的男朋友嗎？他是什么樣的人？你們是怎么認(rèn)識(shí)的？
 
B: We actually met in a club which he runs. He has two jobs. He runs a club in Bristol and he edits magazines for recycling in Bristol and Wales and writes articles about environmental recycling issues. Actually when he came to Japan, he managed to interview a few people here about it, and Japanese recycling isn't as strict as you think it is, um, yeah, but we met in his club and he is a friend of my brothers and we knew a lot of the same people, but it's cheesy to say but almost it was love at first sight. It took about half a year for us to get together, but we were sort of good friends before that and we've been together for two and a half years now. (That's a long time.) It's not really though. It's just zoomed by so quickly. Yeah, we live together now in England and sort of very happy. We never, we're one of these couples that never argue. We obviously have disagreements but there's never any sort of shouting involved. We like a lot of the same things. We like lots of different things as well. I think it's very important. You can't only be into the same things. I'm slowly turning his mind towards anime and computer games. I'm twisting, twisting him, but I do have to make it clear when any Final Fantasy games are out, that I have two boyfriends and he is only one of them.
 
實(shí)際上我們是在他經(jīng)營(yíng)的俱樂(lè)部認(rèn)識(shí)的。他有兩份工作。他在布里斯托爾經(jīng)營(yíng)一家俱樂(lè)部，他編輯雜志，介紹布里斯托爾和威爾士的回收情況，他會(huì)寫(xiě)有關(guān)環(huán)?；厥諉?wèn)題的文章。實(shí)際上他來(lái)日本的時(shí)候， 采訪了一些與這方面有關(guān)的人物，日本的回收業(yè)并不像你認(rèn)為的那么嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，嗯，我們是在他的俱樂(lè)部認(rèn)識(shí)的，他是我哥哥的朋友，所以我們有許多共同的朋友，這么說(shuō)很俗，不過(guò)我們是一見(jiàn)鐘情。我們走到一起用了半年的時(shí)間，但是之前我們一直都是好朋友，目前我們已經(jīng)交往兩年半了。（真是挺長(zhǎng)時(shí)間了。）其實(shí)還好。時(shí)間過(guò)得非?？?。嗯，我們?cè)谟?guó)住在一起，過(guò)得非?？鞓?lè)。我們從來(lái)，我們是那種從來(lái)沒(méi)有吵過(guò)架的情侶。當(dāng)然我們會(huì)有分歧，但是從來(lái)沒(méi)有大聲爭(zhēng)吵過(guò)。我們有許多共同的愛(ài)好。當(dāng)然我們也有許多不同的愛(ài)好。我認(rèn)為這很重要。你不能只喜歡同樣的事情。我用了很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間才讓他關(guān)注動(dòng)漫和電腦游戲。我一直迫使他關(guān)注這些，但是我要說(shuō)明的是，一旦《最終幻想》系列游戲推出，我就有兩個(gè)男朋友了，而他是其中一個(gè)。
 
A: Wow. He sounds like a really interesting guy.
