A: So, Al, we're going to talk about water. How much water do you drink every day?

B: I guess about three liters, so six of those 500 millileter, five or six of those 500 millileter bottles.

A: Yeah, that's a lot. That's about what I drink. Yeah, I think I'm addicted to water.

B: I definitely am.

A: Yeah, it's my security blanket. I must always have a bottle of water nearby to drink.

B: And you have a theory to about why I always feel like I get thirstier the more water I drink, and you have a theory about that don't you?

A: Yeah, that's right. I think that the water bottle people somehow put a special chemical that always make you want to drink more water.

B: I agree.

A: Yeah, cause haven't you noticed that if you drink water from a tap, from the sink, you have a glass of water, you're not thirsty after you finish the glass, but when you finish a bottle of water, you're still thirsty.
 
你有沒有意識(shí)到，如果你從水龍頭或從水池里接一杯水，你把這杯水喝完后就不會(huì)覺得渴了，可是你在喝完一瓶瓶裝水后還是會(huì)覺得渴。
 
B: One bottle is not enough. Yeah, definitely. A glass of tap water I would rarely finish the glass, but a bottle of bottled water, I need more, and like you said I need to know there is more close to me or I get upset.
 
一瓶水完全不夠。絕對(duì)是這樣。我可能都喝不完一杯自來水，但是一瓶瓶裝水完全不夠，我還要喝更多，就像你剛才說的，我要確保我身邊有放瓶裝水，不然我就會(huì)不安。
 
A: Well, do you still drink tap water?
 
你現(xiàn)在還會(huì)喝自來水嗎？
 
B: No, never.
 
不，我從不喝。
 
A: Never?
 
從不喝？
 
B: I cook with it but I don't drink it.
 
我用自來水做飯，但是我不喝。
 
A: Why?

B: Ah, it tastes like crap.
 
味道很難聞。
 
A: Yeah, it does taste pretty bad. Well, we both live in Japan, how is the water in England?

B: It's about the same. It's kind of, it's drinkable in theory but it has this weird processed taste to it and doesn't smell all that good, so it's supposed to be safe to drink but I don't really believe that, for a minute.
 
差不多一樣?？梢哉f理論上可以飲用，但是有加工過的奇怪的味道，而且聞起來也不好，雖然說可以安全飲用，但是我完全不相信這種說法。
 
A: Actually the water where I'm from in Norhtern California is pretty good.
 
我來自北加州，實(shí)際上那里的水質(zhì)量非常好。
 
B: Is it?
 
是嗎？
 
A: Yeah. Ah, that's the one thing you can drink from the tap but people still drink bottled water. ActuBly, I think the next time there's a huge, massive world war, it might be over water.

B: Yes.

A: It's kind of scary.

B: It's like we live on this planet that is mostly water and we can't manage it properly. There isn't enough for everybody.

A: Yeah, no kidding, so anyway, for all you people out there, remember, be thankful for your water.
