A: Hi, Shibika, so you were telling me that you recently were in a car accident.
 
你好，史比卡，我之前聽你說你最近發(fā)生了車禍。
 
B: That's right.
 
沒錯(cuò)。
 
A: Can you tell me what happened?
 
你能告訴我發(fā)生了什么嗎？
 
B: Yeah, in fact, as I told you before, I went to India on vacation and I had stopped in Delhi. That's the capital of India for a day, and I was going out with my friend to watch a movie in his car and he was driving, and he just, there was a turn. He took a turn and he just raced across, He surpassed this car that was going and we dashed across the divider so I banged my shoulder into one of the car doors and that is how... so I basically fractured my collarbone.
 
實(shí)際上，就像我之前告訴過你的那樣，我去印度度假時(shí)去了新德里。新德里是印度的首都，我計(jì)劃在那里待一天，我朋友開車帶我去看電影，在轉(zhuǎn)彎的時(shí)候他在超車時(shí)撞上了分隔帶，我的肩膀撞上了一側(cè)車門，導(dǎo)致鎖骨骨折。
 
A: Oh, so you broke your shoulder.

B: That's right.

A: What happened after that?
 
之后的情況呢？
 
B: So, we had to immediately rush to the hospital and he panicked. I was like... I was not really unconscious but the pain was... it pained really bad so I needed pain killer. I needed an injection, so I went to the hospital and there they gave me a pain killer injection and after that they took an x-ray and then they found it was a fracture so I had to be admitted in the hospital and I was admitted in the hospital immediately and I informed my parents who were not in Delhi, who were in Lucknow. It's like five hours from Delhi and I informed them the next day so... because I didn't want to panic them that time. They couldn't have come to Delhi so. Yeah, so but it was alright. They tied this bandage, plaster kind of thing across my neck and that time it hurt really bad. Yeah, it took time to for me to recover.
 
我們馬上沖向醫(yī)院，他當(dāng)時(shí)非常驚慌。我并沒有失去意識(shí)，但是肩膀特別疼，我需要止疼藥。我需要打止疼針，所以我去醫(yī)院以后，他們給我打了止痛針，然后拍了X光片，醫(yī)生發(fā)現(xiàn)是骨折，我要入院接受治療，我馬上辦理了入院，通知了我的父母，我父母并不在新德里，他們?cè)诶湛髓?。那里距離新德里有5個(gè)小時(shí)的路程，我第二天才通知父母，因?yàn)槲也幌胱屗麄兏械娇只?。他們不能來新德里看我。不過還好，沒什么事。他們用石膏繃帶繞過我的脖子固定，當(dāng)時(shí)真的非常疼。我花了一段時(shí)間才康復(fù)。
 
A: So, after you recovered, what was the process. So you had to go through the hospital and then they put the bandage.
 
你康復(fù)的過程是怎樣的？醫(yī)生給你打了石膏，你要一直在醫(yī)院嗎？
 
B: That's right. I had to be with the bandage on for a really long time, because I couldn't have taken out the bandage because in a bone fracture you can't be given any medicines or you can't be given any external treatment for it to get OK. You know, the only was for it to get OK is it's gonna heal naturally and with the bones with time. The bones are going to get fixed on their own so I had to put on that plaster all the time, while eating, sleeping, no matter what I do, and I had to be in the hospital for a really long time after which I got discharged, say after ten days or something, and then I could have been taken home.
 
沒錯(cuò)。我用石膏繃帶固定了很長時(shí)間，我不能把繃帶拿下來，因?yàn)楣钦鄄荒苡盟幬镏委?，也不能外療。唯一的治療方法是讓骨頭自己慢慢愈合。骨頭可以自我修復(fù)，所以不管是吃飯、睡覺還是做其他事情，我都要一直帶著石膏繃帶，我在醫(yī)院住了好長時(shí)間才出院，好像是10天以后我才出院回家。
