A: So, Amir, I heard ... I was really surprised to hear that Iran traffic is so bad.
 
阿米爾，我聽說……聽說伊朗的交通狀況很糟糕，這令我非常驚訝。
 
B: Iran, yeah, Iran is actually very much famous for it's traffic. Traffic is so horrible. People have to just wait in cars for ages just to get to their places which is just by walking maybe forty minutes, thirty minutes far from the place you are.
 
伊朗，對(duì)，伊朗因交通而出名。伊朗的交通非常糟糕。如果開車的話，人們到達(dá)另一個(gè)地方需要很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間，而走路只需要30至40分鐘左右。
 
A: So there are a lot of traffic jams?

B: Yeah, yeah. The capacitiy of the streets and the amount of car just doesn't match, so people have to wait for many hours.
 
對(duì)，沒錯(cuò)。道路的承載能力和車輛的數(shù)量不相符，所以開車會(huì)堵好幾個(gè)小時(shí)。
 
A: Well, actually, you know what, Vietnamese traffic is also very terrible.
 
實(shí)際上，你知道嗎，越南的交通同樣很糟糕。
 
B: Oh, OK, now you tell me about Vietnam?
 
哦，那你跟我說說越南的交通情況吧。
 
A: Yeah, especially Ho Chi Min City. I still remember it was so scary for me, for the first time I go to Ho Chi Min City. Well, you know, everyone seems to be moving, and we travel mostly by bikes, so you know, there are a lot of bikes on the streets and it seems like you get to move with them. If you stop, you're gonna get hit.
 
好，胡志明市的交通狀況最差。我還記得我第一次去胡志明市時(shí)有多可怕。所有人都在移動(dòng)，基本上我們都用自行車出行，馬路上有很多自行車，大家都在一起向前移動(dòng)。如果你停下來，那你就會(huì)被別人撞到。
 
B: Oh, so you just have to flow with them.

A: Yes, and there seems to be no rules at all. Like, actually they used to be a lot people who just goes when it is red light, and it's pretty common. It was. It's getting better now but still, you I think it's because there are a lot of bikes. Too many of them.
 
對(duì)，看起來完全沒有規(guī)則可言。紅燈的時(shí)候也有很多人在走，這種現(xiàn)象很普遍。雖然現(xiàn)在情況有所好轉(zhuǎn)，但是路上還有很多自行車車，非常多的自行車。
 
B: OK, I am sure there are reasons for this traffic, but before that, before telling me why this is happening in your city, tell me, how you get used to it? How do you overcome this craziness, this anarchy you talk about?
 
好，我想這種交通狀況是有原因的，在你告訴我原因之前，你先說一下你是如何適應(yīng)的？你怎么克服這種瘋狂又混亂的狀態(tài)的？
 
A: Yeah, actually, you know, foreigners complain about it a lot, all the time, but we actually, we Vietnamese people, we actually not ... we don't think it's a matter. It's kind of a natural thing for us, to just get out of your house and go with the flow and it's just ... it is something normal, like every day life, and I think it's because we get to go by bicycle and motorbike pretty soon, pretty early, since we were primary school, and you know, one thing is, the bicycle in Vietnam ... we go on the same road with the cars and bikes, so everyone moves at the same time.
 
實(shí)際上，外國人經(jīng)常抱怨交通問題，不過我們?cè)侥先苏J(rèn)為這并不是問題。對(duì)我們來說，這很正常，只要走出家門，和人群一起移動(dòng)就好，這是件很普遍的事情，這就是我們的日常生活，可能是因?yàn)槲覀儚暮苄〉臅r(shí)候，大概從小學(xué)時(shí)就開始騎自行車和摩托車了，在越南，自行車和汽車在同樣的道路上行駛，所有人都同時(shí)向前移動(dòng)。
