A: Bad!

B: Why? What's up?

A: I'm a little low on cash these days?
 
我這些天手頭有點(diǎn)兒緊。
 
B: Really? What about getting a new job?
 
是嗎？找份新工作呢？
 
A: Well, Where? What's open?
 
嗯，哪兒有？哪里有工作機(jī)會？
 
B: Well, I don't know. You're graduating soon, right?
 
嗯，我也不知道。你馬上就畢業(yè)了，是吧？
 
A: Well, there's still a good half-year before that?
 
還有大半年吧。
 
B: Yeah, well, yeah, those half-years, you should spend it wisely. This is the best chance to get a job.
 
這半年時間，你應(yīng)該明智地花錢。這是找工作的最好機(jī)會。
 
A: What do you mean?
 
你是什么意思？
 
B: Well, I don't know, like, I think this is your last chance to get a job before you graduate. Or what do you plan on after graduating? Just hanging around? Playing games?
 
我也說不清楚，我認(rèn)為這是你在畢業(yè)前找工作的最后機(jī)會。你畢業(yè)后有什么計(jì)劃嗎？就四處閑逛？玩游戲？
 
A: I don't know. I have no idea what to do after graduation. Do you have any plans?
 
我不知道。我還沒想好畢業(yè)后干什么。你有計(jì)劃嗎？
 
B: Well, for me ... well, since the economy is going bad, like there is no opening at the moment, but I was thinking if I could be able to like find an internship in a different country or maybe I could keep doing my part-time job at the moment just until things start getting better. Well, I guess you still have nine months left.
 
我……現(xiàn)在經(jīng)濟(jì)環(huán)境不太好，目前沒有工作空缺，不過我在想，在經(jīng)濟(jì)環(huán)境變好之前，我能在其他國家找到實(shí)習(xí)機(jī)會，或者我能繼續(xù)做現(xiàn)在的兼職。我想你還有九個月的時間。
 
A: Yeah. It's a little depressing though thinking about graduation. Being thrown out into the real world.
 
對，不過一想到畢業(yè)就令人沮喪。要進(jìn)入現(xiàn)實(shí)世界了。
 
B: All my friends who graduated, they're already regretting. They want to go back to school.
 
我所有已經(jīng)畢業(yè)的朋友，現(xiàn)在都開始后悔了。他們想回到學(xué)校。
 
A: Oh, boy!

B: Speaking of which, how about we go to grad school?

A: No!
 
不行！
 
B: Why not?
 
為什么不行？
 
A: Grad School!

B: Why not?

A: I don't know if I could deal with another four years of school.
 
我不確定我是否能再過四年學(xué)校生活。
 
B: It's not four years. It's only two years, and plus, like, I mean, if you're gonna regret so much like getting a job, like, and plus the economy is really bad for a job right now, I think it's best to lay low and just, you know maybe study a little bit more till the economy gets better and then get a job then.
 
不是四年。研究生只上兩年，另外，如果你會后悔工作，而且現(xiàn)在的經(jīng)濟(jì)環(huán)境很難找工作，我認(rèn)為最好的方法是緩一緩，繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)，等經(jīng)濟(jì)環(huán)境好些以后再找工作。
 
A: Well, if I could get some sort of full scholarship, perhaps I would be more inclined to do it, but ...
 
如果我能拿到全額獎學(xué)金，我可能會想繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)，可是……
 
B: Yeah, yeah. It's not bad.
 
對，對，還不錯。
 
A: I don't think I could get a scholarship with my horrible G.P.A.?
 
可是我的平均成績太差了，我想我拿不到獎學(xué)金。
 
B: Same here!
 
我也是！
 
A: Hmm! Grad school!
