A: So Adelina, that's how you say, right, Adelina?
 
阿德琳娜，可以這樣稱呼你吧，阿德琳娜？
 
B: Actually everybody calls me Ade.
 
其實(shí)大家都叫我阿德。
 
A: Well that's fine. So Ade, tell me what are your favorite cities in Europe?
 
這很好。阿德，和我說說你最喜歡的歐洲城市吧？
 
B: Well first of all I have to say I like other continents a lot more than Europe. But if I have to choose one city I will say definitely London.
 
首先我要說，相比于歐洲，我更喜歡其他大州。不過如果一定讓我選擇一個歐洲城市的話，我肯定會選倫敦。
 
A: Actually I don't see you as a London girl.
 
不過我認(rèn)為你并不像倫敦女孩。
 
B: And why not? I was living in London four years and actually it's a city full of life. You can find whatever you want in there, clubbing, shopping, culture, it's a melting pot.
 
為什么不像？我在倫敦生活了四年，那座城市充滿活力。任何你想要的都可以在倫敦找到，夜總會、購物場所、文化，倫敦就是個大熔爐。
 
A: A melting pot?
 
熔爐？
 
B: Yes, melting pot. It's a very common expression, all British use it. They refer to London as a melting pot because of all the nationalities living there. There are so many people for all around the world that actually is weird if you find an English person living in London.
 
對，熔爐。這是一個很常見的表達(dá)方式，所有英國人都這樣說。說倫敦是熔爐是因?yàn)?，倫敦有來自世界各地的人。倫敦有很多來自全世界各地的人，如果你在倫敦看到英國人都會有些奇怪?br />  
A: Okay, interesting. I actually never heard of that expression. So you just said you lived there for four years, but then tell me, what was the purpose of that, did you live there for work, maybe a boyfriend?
 
這真有趣。實(shí)際上我從沒聽過這種說法。你剛說你在倫敦生活了四年，那你為什么在倫敦生活，是為了工作還是因?yàn)槟杏言谀抢铮?br />  
B: Boyfriend? No, no boyfriend. I don't like English guys. But the thing is that I just went there to spend a summer and improve my English. But after a while I fell in love with the city and I decided to stay there a little bit longer. And then I thought, why not profit some time there and do something. So I started MA in audiovisual translation. And that was one year long. So actually I was living there for four years and I did also some waitressing jobs, just to get some extra money and do a living there, because actually London is a very expensive city, so.
 
男朋友？不是，和男朋友沒關(guān)系。我并不喜歡英國男孩。一開始我只是在夏天的時候去倫敦進(jìn)修英語。不過后來我愛上了那座城市，所以我決定在那里多待一段時間。后來我想，我為什么不利用這段時間做些事情呢。于是我開始進(jìn)修影視翻譯的中級學(xué)位。我學(xué)習(xí)了一年的時間。在那里的四年中，我也有做服務(wù)員這類工作，為了掙錢支付在那里的生活開支，因?yàn)閭惗厥且粋€生活成本非常昂貴的城市。
 
A: Oh yes, I totally understand you. I was there on holidays as well. So actually now do you think you could live there again?
 
哦，我完全理解你。我去倫敦度過假。那現(xiàn)在你還想再去倫敦生活嗎？
 
B: Not at all, that was a chapter of my life that has completely ended. Now I just chase the sun.
 
完全不想了，那只是我生活中的其中一章，而且那一章已經(jīng)結(jié)束了?，F(xiàn)在我只想追逐太陽。
 
A: Oh yes, also not a bad idea. So tell me, what about other cities, are there other cities that you specially like in Europe?
 
好，那也是個不錯的主意。那其他城市呢，你有喜歡的其他歐洲城市嗎？
 
B: Yes, Ibiza in Spain is one of my favorites.
 
西班牙伊比薩市是我最愛的城市之一。
 
A: Wow, Ibiza! Well actually when you talk about Ibiza the first thing that comes up in my mind is partying, clubbing. Was that the idea of going to Ibiza?
 
哇哦，伊比薩！你一說伊比薩，我首先想到的是派對和夜總會。這是不是去伊比薩的理由？
 
B: No, not at all. Everybody is so wrong about Ibiza. Ibiza is worldwide known about clubbing and parties and DJs. But actually Ibiza is a tiny island but it has so much to offer, for example, the sunsets, there are these amazing sunsets and these hiding places where you can just relax and enjoy the nature.
 
不，完全不是。大家都對伊比薩有誤解。伊比薩的夜總會、派對和DJ聞名世界。但其實(shí)伊比薩是一座小島，那里的日落非常美，還有可以放松和享受大自然的隱匿之地。
 
A: Oh yes, it's true, sunsets, I heard of its famous sunsets on Ibiza. So actually I think of going to Mallorca this summer and I might go a few days to see Ibiza. Can you tell me some famous places to see one of the best sunsets there?
 
哦對，沒錯，日落，我聽說伊比薩是著名的日落觀賞地。我打算夏天去馬略卡島旅行，我可能會抽幾天時間去伊比薩玩。你能給我介紹一下伊比薩的最佳日落觀賞地嗎？
 
B: Don't go to Cafe del Mar for example, it's a popular one but you don't have the best sunset there. There is a place named Cala Conta and there is a bar there called Sunset Ashram, that is the best place.
 
不要去德瑪咖啡屋，那里很受歡迎，不過那里看不到最美的日落。我建議你去卡拉康塔，那里有一家名為“日落會所”的酒吧，那是最佳日落觀賞地。
 
A: Sounds great. Thanks for the tip. I will tell you about my experience when I'm back again. By the way, should I start going to the gym and buy me one of these little swim shorts like the Italians all at the beach in Ibiza?

B: Don't be a fool. But well, you just said, Italy is also a great place and I love Italy. Actually Florence is also one of my favorite cities in Europe.
 
別傻了。不過你剛才提到的意大利也是個不錯的地方，我喜歡意大利。佛羅倫薩是另一個我喜歡的歐洲城市。
 
A: Oh yes, that's true, I hear a lot of people talking so good about Florence. But as well another city I never went to.
 
哦好，沒錯，我聽很多人說過佛羅倫薩很不錯。不過這座城市我也沒去過。
 
B: You should, actually Florence is like going back in time 100 years. It's full of art and the duomo is the greatest part. And also you can find the Michelangelo and of course the food, it's very nice food like in Spain, you can really enjoy there. It's a small city but it's very, very authentic.
 
你應(yīng)該去看看，佛羅倫薩就像100年前的世界。那里充滿藝術(shù)氣息，最棒的就是大教堂。你還能在那座城市看到米開朗基羅的作品，當(dāng)然佛羅倫薩的食物也非常美味，有很多西班牙美食，在那里你會非常享受的。雖然佛羅倫薩是座非常小的城市，但是很真實(shí)。
 
A: Wow! It seems you've been to quite a lot of places already in Europe.
 
哇哦！看起來你去過歐洲很多地方。
 
B: Not only in Europe, I'm a traveler, I'm a nomad. The more I travel the wiser I get.
 
不只歐洲，我是個旅行者，類似游牧者。旅行的越多，我越聰明。
 
A: Yes indeed, that's what they say at least. Well thank you very much Ade.
