實(shí)用英語對(duì)話:坐火車去西藏

你知道西藏嗎?西藏是世界上面積最大，海拔最高的地區(qū)。西藏的平均海拔在4000米以上，素有“世界屋脊”之稱。世界第一高峰珠穆朗瑪峰就在西藏。西藏人大都信奉藏傳佛教，并由此形成了自己特有的文化體系。因此每年去西藏旅游的人很多。以前去西藏只能坐飛機(jī)。不過從去年開始有了青藏鐵路。現(xiàn)在從北京可以坐火車去西藏了。從北京到西藏自治區(qū)首府-拉薩，48個(gè)小時(shí)內(nèi)就可到達(dá)。在平均海拔4000米以上的地區(qū)，修建鐵路，在中國是第一次，在世界上也沒有先例。這次修建青藏鐵路，共有十萬筑路大軍在青藏高原上艱苦奮戰(zhàn)，歷時(shí)5年才終于完工?，F(xiàn)在青藏鐵路是世界海拔最高的鐵路，我去過西藏，上次是坐飛機(jī)去的，將來有機(jī)會(huì)的話，我還想坐著世界海拔最高的火車再去一次西藏。

Have you ever been to Tibet? Tibet is the largeest and highest area in the world. Its average altitude is above 4000 metres. It has the name of ridge of the world. The highest mountain Everest locates here. Most Tibetan beleive Lamaism which formes their own culture system. Therefore lots of people travel Tibet each year.

It's only possible to arrive Tibet by plane before. But from last year, Qinghai-Tibet Railway opened to traffic. It only takes 48 hours from Bei Jing to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. Buidling railway in the area with an average altitude of above 4000 meters is the first time for China. There is no precedent in the world. There were hundreds of thousands of road workers worked hard for 5 years on the Tibetan Plateau. Now the Qinghai-Tibet railway is the highest railway in the world. I travelled Tibet by plane last time. I decide to travel it by train next time.
