休閑對話：暴走媽媽，偉大的母愛

Jesse: Honey, we are coming home tonight. We haven’t had dinner with mom for a month.

親愛的，我們今天回家吧。我們已經(jīng)有一個月沒有和媽媽吃飯了。

Rebecca: Tonight? For what? Crazy Mom Day?

今天晚上?為什么?瘋狂媽媽節(jié)?

Jesse: Don’t say that. She is a great mom.

不要這么講嘛。那個媽媽很偉大的好吧。

Rebecca: I heard of her on TV. She donated a healthy liver to her son.

我在電視上聽過她。捐一個肝臟給她兒子吧。

Jesse: But she was diagnosed NAFLD.

但是她之前是被診斷有脂肪肝的。

Rebecca: Are you speaking human language?

Jesse: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Medically, the liver transplant was impossible with her condition.

非酒精性脂肪肝。醫(yī)學(xué)上說，她當(dāng)時的條件是不可能進行肝臟移植的。

Rebecca: What happened then? She received medication?

然后呢?她接受治療了?

Jesse: A poor family like hers can not afford it. She ran. After seven months, she lost about 17 pounds. The doctor said her liver was eligible. And her son was back from death.

像她那樣的貧困家庭是擔(dān)負不了的。她跑步。七個月以后，她瘦了17磅。 醫(yī)生說她的肝可以移植了。她兒子也從死亡線上活過來了。

Rebecca: Wow. Can I have a child? I want to be a mom.
