　　K: Wow, it's so comfortable to step on the soft sand.

　　S: Absolutely! The breeze, sunshine and sea are really refreshing!

　　K: I can smell the sea in the breeze.

　　S: Look at the sea. It's blue and calm. What a beautiful scenery!

　　K: Breathtakingly beautiful. I feel as if I were in a different world.

　　S: Look at the' sandcastle. It is big, isn't it?

　　K: It's a pity the wave will wash it away.

　　S: When does the tide come in?

　　K: It usually comes in during the afternoon.

　　S: So the castle can be kept till afternoon.

　　K: It's hot now. The sun is a little intense.

　　S: Why not jump into the sea? You will feel relaxed in the gentle waves.

　　K: Great idea! But I just put on sun block lotion.

　　1.這里Susie 只是想得到 Kevin 的證實，并非提到疑問，所以要用降調(diào)。

　　2.wash sth. away 是指“把……沖走”。

　　3.tide 中的/d/遇到輔音/k/失去爆破。

　　4.during/?dj??r??/中的/d/與/j/在單詞內(nèi)部相遇時，同化為/d?/，口語中讀作/?d???r??/。

　　你聽到的When does the tide come in中的tide似乎是/ta?/而不是/ta?d/，這是因為tide后單詞的首字母音是輔音/k/，所以tide中的/d/出失去爆破，因此tide就讀成了//。
