　　J: That sounds good. My wife is going to buy a pearl necklace.

　　S: OK. what about this one? It is made of 64 pearls that are absolutely identical in size and color.

　　J: How much does it cost?

　　S: The tag price is 880 yuan, but we're offering a 20% discount today. It's really a bargain.

　　J: How do I know the pearl is genuine?

　　S: This shop is well-known throughout the world. and any kind of goods is guaranteed.

　　1.find 詞尾的/d/不發(fā)音。

　　2.flower“花”與flour“面粉”發(fā)音相同，都讀作/'fla??/。

　　3.be indentical in sth.意思是“在某方面相同、一樣”。

　　4.同化現(xiàn)象。this 的尾字母音/s/遇到shop的首字母音/?/被同化為/?/，兩個(gè)/?/相遇只讀一個(gè)。

　　省音和消音現(xiàn)象

　　I'm trying to find some presents for my wife 一句中的find some似乎是/fa?n s?m/而不是/fa?nd s?m/。這是因?yàn)椋绻麊卧~以

　　輔音/t/或/d/結(jié)尾，后一個(gè)詞又以輔音開(kāi)頭，那么該詞詞尾的/t/或/d/就會(huì)失去爆破。比如：

　　next month /neks'm?nθ/下個(gè)月

　　good night /ɡ?'na?t/晚安

　　但當(dāng)后一個(gè)詞的詞首為/w/，/j/，/h/，/r/時(shí)，/t/和/d/則不失去爆破。如：

　　next year /neks'j?:/明年

　　solid wall/s?l?d w?:l/堅(jiān)固的城墻
