1. spill the beans: 泄密，說漏嘴

2. tramp: 妓女，tramp還可以指流浪漢，或者徒步旅行

She wants to go for a tramp in the country.（她想去鄉(xiāng)間遠足。）

3. really something: 了不起

His cooking is really something to write home about.（他的烹調(diào)技術(shù)確實了不起。）

4. But that was then: 但那是很久以前的事了。

5. I don't deserve him: 我不值得他這樣。

He didn't really deserve (that) she should be so kind to him.（他確實不值得她對他那么好。）

6. bawl-bag: 愛哭鬼，bawl在這里的意思是嚎啕大哭，比如：a bawling baby（大聲啼哭的嬰兒）

此外bawl還可以表示大叫大喊；大聲叫嚷

You know how I hate people who bawl all the time.（你知道我就看不慣那種成天嚷嚷嚷的人。）
