陳豪在北京的ABC美國公司工作。他在走廊上遇到美國同事Amy。

(Office ambience)

A：Good Morning Chen Hao. How are you?

C：I am fine, 不過，我正找你呢。 我有點急事要請教你！

A：What's going on?

C：老板昨天晚上打電話，通知我說，總部有一個高級主管今天要到北京來，讓我早上去機(jī)場接機(jī)，然后下午陪她去天津考察。

A：That sounds like a good opportunity for you. I wonder what you did to be selected.

C：我也不知道老板為什么讓我去。不過啊，我寧可他挑的是別人。

A：Why?

C：我是一行人等中職務(wù)最低的一個，也不知道應(yīng)該做些什么事情。

A：I suggest that you clarify this with... I'm sorry, what is this woman's name?

C：Ms. Rose.

陳豪中午去找Amy.

A：What did you find out?

C：你說的一點沒錯。所有雜事都?xì)w我管，包括行程、時間、賬單、小費等等。

A：It's your job to see that things run smoothly. Ms. Rose does not have to take her mind off business to handle any little annoyances.

C：是啊，簡單說，就是這樣。

A：I guess you are "good to go," as Americans like to say.

C：我還有個問題，你可別笑話我！我從來沒坐過豪華轎車。你說，在這種情況下，我應(yīng)該坐在哪個位子呢？

A：The first thing to do when the limo arrives is to ask Ms. Rose, "Where do you want me to sit?"
