   Hollywood goes to France Wednesday for the premiere of Woody Allen's romantic comedy "Midnight in Paris," the opening film at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Reuters reports.

   Allen's new film stars Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard, as well as French first lady Carla Bruni. But Bruni announced Tuesday that she had canceled an appearance in Cannes because of "personal reasons."
   艾倫的新片由歐文•威爾遜、瑪麗昂•歌迪亞以及法國第一夫人卡拉•布呂尼出演。但布呂尼周二宣布，她因“個人原因”取消出席戛納。

   The world's biggest cinema showcase, which ends on May 22, boasts an impressive roll call of major screen stars, revered "auteur" directors and relative newcomers.

They will be joined by some famous European filmmakers -- Pedro Almodovar, Nanni Moretti, the Dardenne brothers, Aki Kaurismaki and Lars Von Trier -- who are all vying for the Palme d'Or prize for best picture.
