A: Look, Jimmy's report came today.
看，吉米今天的成績單。
B: Let's have a look. What is this? Where are all the grades?
讓我看下。這是什么?所有的成績在哪里?
A: He's in the third grade Sam! You see under each subject that he is being taught in school, he receives a mark from one to three. A one means hisachievement or work is excellent. Here in Science for example he got a two, which means its satisfactory.
山姆，他在三年級!下面是他在學(xué)校學(xué)的課程，他得了一個從1到3的標(biāo)志。一個A表示優(yōu)秀。這里是理科，他得了一個2，意思是合格。
B: What about here in physical education?
體育課怎么樣呢?
A: He got a three here which means it's unsatisfactory. We should work on that with him.
他了一個3，表示不滿意。我們應(yīng)該就這個方面和他談?wù)劇?br /> B: So confusing! In my day we got an A or B if we were doing well and if we failed an exam we would get an F!
不是很清楚!我們上學(xué)的時候如果考得好的話就得A或者B，如果我們考得不好就得一個F!
