Do you like cooking?
你喜歡做飯嗎？

It's fun to cook.
烹飪很有樂趣。

Let's make a sandwich. Take some milk,... add some eggs.
讓我們來做三明治。放點牛奶，加點雞蛋。

If you are not sure of the quantities to use, look them up.
如果你不確定數(shù)量，核對一下。

A: Do you like cooking?
甲：你喜歡做飯嗎？

B: Not very much. I think it's more fun to eat than to cook.
乙：不太喜歡。吃比做更有意思。

A: That's for sure. But for me it's fun to cook.
甲：那肯定是。不過對我來說，烹飪很有意思。

B: No wonder you are a great cook.
乙：怪不得你做的飯菜這么好吃呢。

(Bill comes into the kitchen to see what his mother is cooking.)
（比爾進(jìn)了廚房去看他媽媽在做什么飯。）

Bill: Hi, Mom. What are you cooking?
比爾：媽，您在做什么飯？

Mom: Fish.
媽媽：魚。

Bill: Can I help you?
比爾：我能幫你嗎？

Mom: I don't think so.
媽媽：我想你幫不上。

Bill: It's fun to cook.
比爾：烹飪很有意思。

Mon: Really? I think it's fun to eat.
媽媽：真的嗎？我想吃起來更有意思。

Bill: Let's make a sandwich.
比爾：我們做三明治吧。

Mom: No.
媽媽：不行。

Bill: What about a cake, Mom?
比爾：那么蛋糕呢？

Mom: OK. Are you ready?
媽媽：好吧。準(zhǔn)備好了嗎？

Bill: Yes.
比爾：是的。

Mom: Take some milk, some flour, add some sugar.
媽媽：放點牛奶，放電面粉，再加點糖。

Bill: Yeah. But how much?
比爾：是的。但是放多少呢？

Mom: Check, There is a book. If you are not sure of the quantities to use, look them up.
媽媽：核對一下。那兒有書。如果你不確定該用多少，就查對一下。

Bill: Yes.
比爾：是。

Mom: Add some eggs, them mix everything together. Cook it. It's a cake.
媽媽：加雞蛋，然后攪拌?？疽幌?，蛋糕就做好了。

Bill: I'm hungry.
比爾：我餓了。

(Bill puts the bowl on the edge of the table)
（比爾把碗放在了桌子邊沿。）

Mom: Dont's put that bowl there. Someone might knock it over.
媽媽：別把碗放在那兒，那樣容易被碰翻的。
