B: No wonder you are a great cook.
乙:怪不得你做的飯菜這么好吃呢。
(Bill comes into the kitchen to see what his mother is cooking.)

Bill: Hi, Mom. What are you cooking?
比爾:媽,您在做什么飯?
Mom: Fish.
媽媽:魚。
Bill: Can I help you?
比爾:我能幫你嗎?
Mom: I don't think so.
媽媽:我想你幫不上。
Bill: It's fun to cook.
比爾:烹飪很有意思。
Mon: Really? I think it's fun to eat.
媽媽:真的嗎?我想吃起來(lái)更有意思。
Bill: Let's make a sandwich.
比爾:我們做三明治吧。
Mom: No.
媽媽:不行。
Bill: What about a cake, Mom?
比爾:那么蛋糕呢?
Mom: OK. Are you ready?
媽媽:好吧。準(zhǔn)備好了嗎?
Bill: Yes.
比爾:是的。
Mom: Take some milk, some flour, add some sugar.
媽媽:放點(diǎn)牛奶,放電面粉,再加點(diǎn)糖。
Bill: Yeah. But how much?
比爾:是的。但是放多少呢?
Mom: Check, There is a book. If you are not sure of the quantities to use, look them up.

Bill: Yes.
比爾:是。
Mom: Add some eggs, them mix everything together. Cook it. It's a cake.

(Bill puts the bowl on the edge of the table)
