The 25-year-old pop star, in a studded leather jacket and matching platform boots, closed her eyes during the press conference to highlight the fake pupils that were drawn on her eyelids.

Gaga sang at the charity show, saying her performance “was heavily inspired by Japanese culture, and I can’t thank the fans enough. I’m feeling just so honored to be here.”

“I hope that tonight what you take away from that performance is never give up on the dream of Japan, never give up on the dream of its people, and never give up on the dream of the future,” she added.
