Welcome to New Year. The conventional Happy New Year approach is to think of the New Year as something that happens outside of us.  It is a good luck wish that the New Year, in some magical way, will bring us our heart's desire.  We look to the New Year to make us happy.

歡迎來到新年。傳統(tǒng)的新年快樂祝愿是把新年當作是外在發(fā)生的事情。它是一種好運祝福，希望新年以一種神奇的方式，帶來我們心中所想。我們期盼著新年讓我們快樂。

However, when we expect happine ss to come to us from the outside we are usually disappointed.  Happine ss is not guaranteed by sunny weather, a raise in pay, a new car, a beautiful home or anything else of a material nature.  External things are often po sse ssed by very unhappy people.

Happine ss does not come out of a New Year; it comes out of men and women.  Life does not change when we hang a new calendar on the wall or when the clock strikes midnight and a New Year begins.  The only way life will change for us is when we change ourselves.

快樂并不來自于新年的到來；它源自人們的內(nèi)在。生活并不因我們在墻上掛上了新日歷或者時鐘在午夜敲響新年的鐘聲而改變。能改變我們的生活的唯一方式是改變我們自己。
