推斷歸納題

　　 解題思路:英語聽力試題中存在這樣一種現(xiàn)象:出題人為了增加試題難度,增強(qiáng)選項(xiàng)干擾性,往往會讓錯誤選項(xiàng)中出現(xiàn)聽力原文中出現(xiàn)過的某個詞匯或某個信息,而正確選項(xiàng)反而刻意避免使用聽力原文詞匯,也就是“視聽反向”的情形。應(yīng)對這類題目,我們應(yīng)該注意抓住說話人的語氣和感情色彩,聽出言外之意。這類題目有時會考查虛擬語氣等句型。

　　 選項(xiàng)特點(diǎn):類似人物意圖題的選項(xiàng),選項(xiàng)主謂賓較為齊全,選項(xiàng)可能較長。有時四個選項(xiàng)開頭很不一致,有時四個選項(xiàng)結(jié)構(gòu)很不一致。

經(jīng)典考題:

　　 例1:2006年12月23日真題

　　 5.[A]Tom has arranged to meet his bride Sarah in Hawaii.

　　 [B]A double blessing has descended upon Tom.

　　 [C]Tom was more excited than Sarah at the wedding.

　　 解析:這道題的選項(xiàng)比較復(fù)雜。女士說:“Tom非常興奮,昨天他剛拿到了博士學(xué)位,現(xiàn)在馬上他又要迎娶Sarah了。”男士說:“他真是幸運(yùn)兒!Sarah是個可愛的新娘,今晚他們就要去夏威夷度蜜月了。”由此可知Tom既拿到了博士學(xué)位又要迎娶新娘,可謂雙喜臨門。而選項(xiàng)B“A double blessing has descended upon Tom”就可以翻譯成“雙喜臨門”。另外,選項(xiàng)A、C 、D中都提到了原文中出現(xiàn)的內(nèi)容,但都不符合原文。

　　 W:Actually,I tried to do that,but they told me I have to take Language Studies first.

　　 Q:What do we learn from the conversation?

　　 答案:D

　　 解析:這道題選項(xiàng)比較復(fù)雜,但可以注意到其中包含校園場景詞匯。男士說:“我選修了語言心理學(xué),真的很有趣,既然你主修心理學(xué),你也應(yīng)該選這門課。”女士說:“事實(shí)上我已經(jīng)試過了,但是他們告訴我在選這門課之前必須要先選修語言研究。”由此可以推斷出女士目前并不能選修男士提到的這門課。也就是選項(xiàng)D所說的“...isn't qualified to take the course”。
