It is said that thousands of years ago people lived to a very old age. Scientists cannot prove or disprove these accounts. Perhaps Methuselah lived hundreds of years. Perhaps this is only an exaggerated account. The greatest age to which a person has lived in our time was only a little more than 113 years. Mrs. Delina Filkins died at the age of 113 years, 214 days. Scientists are sure of her birthday and the date of her death.
