The population is one of thebiggest problems in the world today. China has the largest population with 1.3billion. It’s about one fifth of the world’s population. A large populationcauses many difficulties, not only for every family, but also for the wholenation. It has become a serious problem. In many less developed areas, someparents prefer boys to girls. As a result, many girls can’t go to school. Ithink we should do something to control the population. One answer is known asthe one-child policy. It has worked well in controlling China’s population.

人口是當(dāng)今世界最大的問題之一。中國有13億人口，是世界上人口最多的國家。大約占世界人口的五分之一。人口多造成許多困難，不僅對每個(gè)家庭，而且對整個(gè)國家。這已經(jīng)成為一個(gè)嚴(yán)重的問題。在許多欠發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū)，有些父母重男輕女。結(jié)果，許多女孩不能上學(xué)。我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該做些什么來控制人口。一個(gè)答案就是獨(dú)生子女政策。它在控制中國人口方面卓有成效。
