【滿分作文】

    In the picture，we can see a boy in wornclothes，sitting at a shabby wooden table with a pile of books on it．A weak ray of light came inthrough a small hole in the wall and he was absorbed in his reading．

    This is a well-known storyfrom an ancient Chinese idiom．The boy，being poor，couldn’t afford even a candle，so he bored a hole in the wall to“steal”light from his neighbor'shouse to read at night．The moral of the story is：spare no effort to acquire knowledge and never get discouragedeasily no matter how difficult the situation may be．

Of course，things are totallydifferent today．It is not the story itself but what is reflected in the story thatcounts．Hard work pays off．We should take pains toimprove ourselves through learning and get prepared for the future．

這是中國(guó)古代成語(yǔ)中的一個(gè)眾所周知的故事。這個(gè)男孩很窮，連一支蠟燭都買(mǎi)不起，所以他在墻上鉆了一個(gè)洞，“偷”了鄰居家里的燈光，晚上看書(shū)。這個(gè)故事的寓意是:不遺余力地獲取知識(shí)，無(wú)論情況有多么困難，永遠(yuǎn)不要輕易氣餒。

當(dāng)然，今天的情況完全不同了。重要的不是故事本身，而是故事中反映的內(nèi)容。努力工作總會(huì)有回報(bào)。我們應(yīng)該努力通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)提高自己，為未來(lái)做好準(zhǔn)備。
