I’m delighted to receive your letter in which youasked about our arrangements for the World Reading Day.

What deserves to be mentioned most is the theme ofthe reading day---Reading Chinese Classics and Inheriting Chinese Culture.Obviously, its aim is to raise our awareness of passing on traditional Chineseculture.

It’s widely acknowledged that reading benefits us inmany ways. Not only can it broaden our horizons but it also deepens ourthoughts. Therefore, a series of activities, such as Reading Salon, aSecond-hand Book Exchange will take place on that day.
