Recently many cities are full of haze．As we can see in the TV news，metropolises like Beijing suffer from terrible haze，which forces the citizens to wear masks to protect the poisonous items from being breathed in．The sky is dim and the city is so dusty that almost no one can see further than 20 miles away．At night，overlooking the whole city from its top，one can only see strong laser lights coming across the tall buildings and the rest is totally dark．This is such a horrible scene that it seems like the end of the world．

Experts say that every city has to go through such bad experience during the industrialization，but I suppose we should take immediate measures to reduce the pollution and hug the beautiful nature again．As ordinary citizens，we can start from daily affairs like taking a bus instead of driving to work in order to cut down the release of carbon dioxide，forming the habit of turning off lights when leaving the room to use less electricity，taking one's own bags to the supermarket rather than buy a plastic bag and so on．As for the government，it should encourage scientists to develop more green devices，work out new plans to promote the economy while doing no harm to the environment，put more money into the field of environmental protection and so forth．

Let's make joint efforts to do our bit and make our environment cleaner and more beautiful.
