Writing 1 　You are living in the Rose Residential Area，which is newly-built and not very large．At the back of the residential area is a large piece of empty space．People living here are always giving their ideas about how to use it．Now talk about your idea about how to use the empty space and give the reasons．

As a resident at the Rose Residential Area looking forward to a more comfortable and calm life，I hope the empty space at the back of the residential area can be turned into a park．

In my prospect，the park should be filled with tall trees，spotted with beautiful flowers．Paths and benches should be set，welcoming the new visitors appreciate the beauty of nature．Facilities for spots and children's recreation should be placed so that the residents，especially the old and the children，can have more fun and pleasure．One last thing is that trees planted should be tall and strong enough to block the noises from a busy road nearby．

As for the reasons，the park is sure to make residents' life better．Not only will it provide the residents with a better living environment，but also it serves as a place for sports，recreation and relaxation．It will have many functions that currently don't exist in our Resident Area．Besides，it will purify the air and reduce the noise．The threats of pollution to our health will thus decrease．Imagine how joyful it will be to enjoy the scenery of a forest just at your window instead of a busy road．

Back to the reality，I am eager to win the support of my neighbors and make my plan come true．
