The cartoon given above has vividly revealed recent students' living conditions：moving from one textbook to another，with a cellphone in hand，neglecting those classic works．The addiction to mobile phones and being filled up with the massive knowledge taught in school are the two major concerns for students' study life nowadays．

If asked what the main cause is，people will say without hesitation that it's because of the heavy load of study．Never have a generation faced such a heavier learning burden than the children nowadays．With the increasing number of competitors and the higher expectation from their parents，students have no choice but to bury themselves in countless textbooks and reference books．Since the classic books can't bring them immediate benefits，there is no need to waste time reading them．Apart from the heavy load，the rapid development of science and technology has also been a contributing factor in making the students lose their interest in the classic ones．Due to their little spare time caused by the heavy burden，the intervals for them to have a rest is very short，during which time playing mobile phones may relax them．So a great number of students have become “WeChataholic”，which means they keep staring at the moile phones all the time．

But we have to admit that although classic books can't bring students immediate benefits to their academic grades，they will greatly change the students' whole life in the long run．Reading the classics which have stood the test of time，students can not only broaden their horizons but also get a new outlook in life．Thus students ought to be encouraged to put down their cellphones and pick up the classics；also，the whole education system should be improved．

All in all，efforts from all over the society are badly needed to change this worrying situation．
