Should Museums Be Open Free to the Public？

Since the museum operation reform came out，argument over it has never really been settled．The supporters say that free museums benefit the ordinary people greatly，while the opponents condemn the act as a trouble-maker．

As a high school student，I'd choose to stand by the current policy．On one hand，free museums achieve the purpose of having museums，which is education，equality and enjoyment．In the past，museums were deliberately made “noble”，isolating the poor and depriving them of the chance to get a fair share of knowledge and wisdom handed down from our forefathers．That was not right．On the other hand，the “troubles”，as many opponents put it，are not real problems．Nor are these problems long lasting．They are just minor dispositions as over-crowded exhibition halls and buzz-filled escalators．

In conclusion，I am strongly in favour of the practice that museums should be open to the public free．I hope more and more civilians can enjoy free tours around various museums，learning more and enriching their life．
