高中英語演講:五一勞動節(jié)

        1886年的5月1日，美國的資產(chǎn)階級政府出動大批軍隊和警察，殘酷地鎮(zhèn)壓了芝加哥工人因要求改善勞動條件而進行的集會斗爭。這說明，工人階級不要說爭取主人的地位，就是要求改善基本的生活條件也會遭受到血腥的鎮(zhèn)壓。把五月一日定為國際勞動節(jié)，就是旨在動員并團結(jié)全世界無產(chǎn)階級及勞動人民，為爭取自身的自由、解放，為最終實現(xiàn)當(dāng)家作主的權(quán)利而不懈斗爭。

       我國的無產(chǎn)階級和廣大勞動人民在中國共產(chǎn)黨的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，經(jīng)過艱苦卓絕的斗爭，使當(dāng)家作主的夢想變成了現(xiàn)實，人民成了國家和社會的主人，享有廣泛的民主權(quán)利，以主人翁的精神投入到建設(shè)社會主義的偉大事業(yè)中去。我們的社會主義祖國正呈現(xiàn)出蓬勃生機，煥發(fā)出旺盛活動力，以昂揚的姿態(tài)闊步邁向二十一世紀。

        我們——作為跨世紀的一代建設(shè)者和接班人，將責(zé)無旁貸地挑起建設(shè)社會主義現(xiàn)代化強國的重擔(dān)，以主人翁的態(tài)度投入到建設(shè)祖國的偉大事業(yè)中去。作為一名中學(xué)生，從小就應(yīng)該樹立主人翁的意識，關(guān)心國家大事，熱愛自己的家園，樹立遠大的志向，把自己的前途同祖國的命運結(jié)合起來，使自己成為一個有理想有志氣有抱負有高尚品質(zhì)的人。我們要培養(yǎng)勞動感情，養(yǎng)成勞動習(xí)慣，珍惜勞動成果，積極參加社會實踐活動。當(dāng)然，最重要的還是要努力學(xué)習(xí)科學(xué)文化知識，扎實掌握一技之長，為將來把我國建設(shè)繁榮富強打下良好的基礎(chǔ)！這才是對“五·一”國際勞動節(jié)最好的的紀念。
