A growing number of college students and even people from all walks of life take part in the National Graduate Entrance Examination nowadays. People have different purposes in trying to go to the graduate school. First, the majority of candidates try to get into graduate school due to the employment pressure, as a bachelor’s degree is no longer evaluated as a sufficient qualification to ensure a decent job nowadays. Second, some people, though employed for years, find their knowledge inadequate to meet the demand of this ever-developing society. Naturally, they turn to postgraduate study. Third, some people see postgraduate study as a fashion and follow suit.

In my opinion, it is advisable to pursue postgraduate study under the present condition of low employment rate and high demands on talents. And I have every reason to believe that more people will struggle to study in the graduate school and the craze for graduate study will last for years.
在我看來，在目前低就業(yè)率高人才需求的條件下，攻讀研究生是可取的。我完全有理由相信，更多的人將努力在研究生院學(xué)習(xí)，對研究生學(xué)習(xí)的狂熱將持續(xù)多年。
