Subject: Creating a Green Culture and Building a Low-carbon Campus
We are going to launch a series of activities to promote a low-carbon lifestyle, or specifically, to advocate energy efficiency, waste minimization and recycling. A green lifestyle is a potential and present formula for a healthier and more habitable environment.
To attract more students to adopt this lifestyle, we will hold lectures to introduce the new lifestyle and host an exhibition on recycling to encourage students to make the most of their possessions. In addition, we will hand out leaflets to every dormitory, recommending students to switch off unused lights and other electronic equipment, to recycle paper, batteries and plastic bottles, and to travel by bicycle, bus or subway.
All club members are required to take part in the above activities. Other brilliant ideas about our activity plans are welcome.
