A: I hate to say it, but she’s really impolite.
我真不想這么說(shuō)，但她真的很沒(méi)有禮貌。
B: I know. I’ve never met anyone with such awful manners in my life.
我知道，我一生中從來(lái)沒(méi)碰到過(guò)對(duì)人這么沒(méi)禮貌的人。
A: I hate wasting my time waiting for people who are constantly late.
我討厭把時(shí)間浪費(fèi)在等那些經(jīng)常遲到的人上。
B: Are you talking about me?
你在說(shuō)我嗎？
A: Of course I am talking about you. I’ve been waiting here for an hour, you inconsiderate jerk!

Kim’s Note: I know this word is not used in the same way and with nearly as much frequency in Chinese. It is a culture difference. Americans use this word even when they are describing something they only dislike slightly.
我知道，在中國(guó)這個(gè)詞的用法不一樣，使用頻率也沒(méi)那么高。這是個(gè)文化差異的問(wèn)題。美國(guó)人哪怕只是形容他們有一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)不喜歡的事也會(huì)用這個(gè)詞來(lái)表達(dá)。
