你怎樣提高英語(yǔ)

A: Do you mind if I ask you a question?
我問(wèn)你個(gè)問(wèn)題你介意嗎？

B: No, not at all. Go ahead.
不介意。問(wèn)吧。

A: What do you do in order to improve your English?
你怎樣提高你的英語(yǔ)？

B: I go to movies; I go to lectures; I listen to the radio; I do lots of things. Most importantly, I practice every chance I get.
我看電影，聽(tīng)演講，聽(tīng)廣播，方法很多。最重要的是，我抓住每一個(gè)可以練英語(yǔ)的機(jī)會(huì)。

A: It’s a good idea to have a radio, isn’t it?
有收音機(jī)倒是學(xué)英語(yǔ)的好辦法，對(duì)不對(duì)？

B: Sure. It’s like understanding on the telephone——you can’t see the speaker! It’s great for improving listening comprehension.
對(duì)。就好像是接電話(huà)一樣，你看不到對(duì)方！這對(duì)提高聽(tīng)力很有幫助。

A: It takes a long time to learn a language, doesn’t it?
學(xué)語(yǔ)言要很長(zhǎng)的時(shí)間，對(duì)不對(duì)？

B: It certainly does. But if you practice speaking every spare minute and learn useful sentences every day you can make big progress.
