助動(dòng)詞 (Modal Auxiliaries)
1.語氣助動(dòng)詞，給予主動(dòng)詞一種感情的色彩，如許可、禁止、猜測、可能、潛力等。
2.助動(dòng)詞 + V ; 助動(dòng)詞 + not + V; 助動(dòng)詞 + S + V ?

能力
Michael can speak French. Michael會說法文。
Can he (=Is he able to) speak German, too? 他也會說德文嗎？
I could (=was able to) speak a little Spanish.
我以前會說一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)西班牙文。
I can't solve this math problem. 這道數(shù)學(xué)題我解不出來。
Cats are able to climb trees. 貓會爬樹。
What can I do for you? 有何貴干？
I could (=was able to)run fast when I was young.
