被動語態(tài)Passive Voice (be + p.p.)
S + Vt. + O → O + be + p.p. + by + S
Jack opened the window. → The window was opened by Jack.
The cat chased the mouse. → The mouse was chased by the cat.
John locks the door every day. → The door is locked by John every day.
何時(shí)使用？
a.不知道執(zhí)行者是誰，或認(rèn)為不重要時(shí)。
His car was stolen. 他的車被偷了。
The house was built in 1900. 那棟房子是在1900年建造的。
The sweater was made in England. 這件毛衣是英國制造的。
b.接受者是強(qiáng)調(diào)的重點(diǎn)。
Many accidents are caused by drunken driving。
很多車禍肇因于酒后駕車。
Ten people were killed in the traffic accident.
十個(gè)人車禍中喪生。
The bill has been paid by me. 賬單我已經(jīng)付過了。
c.說話者想做客觀超然的敘述。
It is said that her mother got married at 16.
聽說他媽媽16歲就結(jié)婚了。
