Part詞類: Nouns 名詞

Explanation說明: are names of people, places and qualities

Example范例: man; desk; happiness; Taipei; Christina

Part詞類: Verbs 動詞

Explanation說明: describe actions, states or experience

Example范例: go; study; drink; push; break; understand

Part詞類: Auxiliaries 助動詞

Explanation說明: are used with main verbs to show the tense, mood etc.

Example范例: do; will; can; may; must; should

Part詞類: Adjectives 形容詞

Explanation說明: describe nouns

Example范例: She's a pretty woman. I'm sleepy.

Part詞類: Adverbs 副詞

Explanation說明: describe verbs, Adj., Adv., or a sentence

Example范例: He walks slowly. She runs very fast.

Part詞類: Prepositions 介系詞

Explanation說明: are used before nouns to show time, place, direction etc.

Example范例: in the box; on the tabe; at 7:00; go to school

Part詞類: Conjunctions 連接詞

Explanation說明: connect parts of sentences, phrases, or clauses.

Example范例: and; but; because; Though I'm poor, I am happy.

Part詞類: Interjections 感嘆詞

Explanation說明: are used to express surprise, shock, pain etc.

Example范例: Ouch! It hurts! Hurray! We won.

Explanation說明: help us to refer to nouns
