In the state of Zhen, "Pu" meant uncarved jadewhile in the state of Zhou it meant unsalted mouse.   One time, a people of the state of Zhou, with an unsalted mouse in his pocket, asked a person from the state of Zhen whether he wanted to buy a "Pu". The person from the state of Zhen thought he was talking about a piece of uncarved jade so he said yes.   When the man took out a dead mouse, he refused to buy it very firmly.   鄭國(guó)人把沒(méi)有經(jīng)過(guò)雕琢的玉叫做“璞”，而周?chē)?guó)人卻將沒(méi)有腌制處理的老鼠叫做“璞”。   一個(gè)周?chē)?guó)人懷中踹著一只死老鼠，問(wèn)一個(gè)鄭國(guó)商人是否愿意買(mǎi)自己的“璞”。那個(gè)鄭國(guó)商人以為他說(shuō)的是一塊未經(jīng)雕琢的玉石，便一口答應(yīng)下來(lái)。   鄭國(guó)商人見(jiàn)周?chē)?guó)人從懷里掏出的原來(lái)是一只死老鼠，就說(shuō)什么也不買(mǎi)了。
