W: Eric, how long will you be in China?

M: I don't know. Well, my contract here is for one year, and I don't know what I should do after that. Maybe going around for a while.

M: Actually, I am learning that now. But it's too hard for me. You know the four tones and the stuff. It really freaks me out.

W: Don't worry. All things are difficult before they are easy.

注釋：

句子“All things are difficult before they are easy.”和“You hit the nail right on the head.”都是英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)。前一句的意思是“萬(wàn)事開(kāi)頭難。”；后一句的意思是“你說(shuō)到點(diǎn)子上了。”，完全可以把它和“You hit the point.”這句話一起理解。
