Each moment in history is a fleeting time, precious and unique.
［譯］歷史巨輪飛轉(zhuǎn)，分分秒秒的時間都十分寶貴，也獨(dú)具意義。
Easy come, easy go. (or Light come, light go.)
［注解］指得來的不義之財，沒有理由久享。同類諺語還有：“Ill (or Evil) gotten, ill (or evil) spent. Soon got, soon spent.”源自拉丁語，指胡亂弄來的錢被胡亂花掉。
［譯］來得容易去得快。
Economy is the poor man's mint; and extravagance the rich man's pitfall.
［注解］economy節(jié)約。mint造幣廠。extravagance奢侈、浪費(fèi)。
［譯］節(jié)約是窮人的造幣廠，浪費(fèi)是富翁的陷阱。

［譯］生命中的一天就是你歷史上的一頁。

［注解］指積少成多，點(diǎn)滴之物都能派上用場。

［注解］count動詞，很重要。
［譯］每分鐘都很重要；分秒必爭。

［譯］人對自己的命運(yùn)總不感到滿足。
Everything has its time and that time must be watched.
［譯］任何事情都有好的時機(jī)，定要把握時機(jī)。
Everything is good in its season.
［注解］只要合時令，樣樣是佳品。也就是“There is a time for everything”。
［譯］萬物逢時皆美好。
Experience proves that most time is wasted, not in hours, but in minutes. A bucket with a small hole in the bottom gets just as empty as a bucket that is deliberately kicked over.
