老頭兒和擔(dān)子摔一交，

滿地是白杏兒紅櫻桃。

老頭兒爬起來(lái)直哆嗦，

“我知道我今日的罪過(guò)！”

“手破了，老頭兒你瞧瞧?！?/p>

“唉！都給壓碎了，好櫻桃！”

“老頭兒你別是病了罷？

你怎么直楞著不說(shuō)話？”

“我知道我今日的罪過(guò)，”

一早起我兒子直催我。

我兒子躺在床上發(fā)狠，

他罵我怎么還不出城。”

“我知道今日個(gè)不早了，

沒(méi)有想到一下子睡著了。

這叫我怎么辦，怎么辦？

回頭一家人怎么吃飯？”

老頭拾起來(lái)又掉了，

滿地是白杏紅櫻桃。

The old man fell down with his load,

White apricots and red cherries scattered all over.

The old man got up muttering incessantly,

“I know my sins today!”

“Your hands are bleeding, old man. Look!”

“Oh, no! All crushed! Good cherries!”

“Old man, are you well?

Why are you staring at me without a word?”

“I know my sins today!

Early this morning my son kept hurrying me.

My son, still in bed, got mad;

He scolded me for not yet leaving the city.”

“I knew it was getting late,

I didn’t realize I overslept,

Now when am I going to do, going to do?

What will the whole family eat?”

The old man picks them up and lets them go,

White apricots and red cherries scattered all over.
