應(yīng)對(duì)共同挑戰(zhàn)、邁向美好未來(lái)，既需要經(jīng)濟(jì)科技力量，也需要文化文明力量。

Humanity needs cultural strength, besides economic and technological strength, to cope with common challenges and head toward a bright future.

認(rèn)為自己的人種和文明高人一等，執(zhí)意改造甚至取代其他文明，在認(rèn)識(shí)上是愚蠢的，在做法上是災(zāi)難性的。

It is foolish to believe that one's race and civilization are superior to others, and it is disastrous to willfully reshape or even replace other civilizations.

亞洲人民期待一個(gè)開(kāi)放融通的亞洲。如果各國(guó)重新回到一個(gè)個(gè)自我封閉的孤島，人類文明就將喪失生機(jī)活力。

Asian people expect an open and integrated Asia. Civilizations will lose vitality if countries go back to isolation and cut themselves off from the rest of the world.

文明交流互鑒應(yīng)該是對(duì)等的、平等的，應(yīng)該是多元的、多向的，而不應(yīng)該是強(qiáng)制的、強(qiáng)迫的，不應(yīng)該是單一的、單向的。

Exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations should be conducted in a reciprocal and equal manner, and be diversified and multi-directional, they should not be compulsory or forced, or be a one-way flow.

各種文明本沒(méi)有沖突，只是要有欣賞所有文明之美的眼睛。我們既要讓本國(guó)文明充滿勃勃生機(jī)，又要為他國(guó)文明發(fā)展創(chuàng)造條件，讓世界文明百花園群芳競(jìng)艷。

There would be no clash of civilizations as long as people are able to appreciate the beauty of them all. Countries should create conditions for other civilizations to develop while keeping their own vibrant. We should leave various civilizations in the world all in full blossom.

任何一種文明都要與時(shí)偕行。我們應(yīng)該用創(chuàng)新增添文明發(fā)展動(dòng)力、激活文明進(jìn)步的源頭活水。

Civilizations need to keep pace with the times. Innovation should be encouraged to give impetus and vitality to the progress of civilizations.

親仁善鄰、協(xié)和萬(wàn)邦是中華文明一貫的處世之道，

惠民利民、安民富民是中華文明鮮明的價(jià)值導(dǎo)向，

革故鼎新、與時(shí)俱進(jìn)是中華文明永恒的精神氣質(zhì)，

Seeking goodwill with neighbors and harmony with all nations is the Chinese way of engaging with the world.
