“湊熱鬧”這個(gè)詞在英語中可以用詞組come along for the ride來表示，它的意思是：to join in an activity without playing an important part in it。

For example:

My boyfriend loves this rock band, he has booked two tickets for the concert tonight, but I just came along for the ride.
