吃貨們的腦洞永遠堵不住，看見跟吃有關的英文習語更是會腦補各種畫面。然而，想象與現(xiàn)實之間總是差太遠!吃貨們還不趕緊來圍觀?

1. Have a lot on one's plate

盤子里有好多東東?作為一枚吃貨，你是不是感覺又能大飽口福了?千萬別多想……這個短語實際的意思是指手頭有很多事情要做。

例：I've got enough on my plate to keep me busy this summer.

我手頭事情好多，這一夏天夠我忙活了。

2. Nutty as a fruitcake

Fruitcake除了指水果干果餡料十足的蛋糕，還能表示“蛇精病”……Nutty既可以指“含有干果的”，也用來形容人很古怪。所以看到這個短語，吃貨們請hold住口水吧!
