應(yīng)乘客要求 美聯(lián)航恢復(fù)供應(yīng)番茄汁

The juice of a fruit once thought to cause madness -- the tomato -- got United Airlines in hot water with travelers last week.

曾被認(rèn)為能導(dǎo)致人瘋狂的水果番茄所榨成的汁，上周讓美國聯(lián)合航空公司備受乘客指責(zé)。

United decided to cut tomato juice from its selection of in-flight beverages, but quickly reversed its decision after a torrent of complaints on social media.

美聯(lián)航本已決定將番茄汁從其航班飲料單中劃除，但此舉招致社交媒體上怨聲載道。

"What are you doing United Airlines? Everyone knows tomato juice is so much better in the air!!!!" said a netizen.

一名網(wǎng)友說：“美聯(lián)航你們在干什么?誰都知道番茄汁在空中喝味道好得多!!!!”

"I've always been a united guy and will book based on price, but if your price is equal to your competitor, the airline serving the tomato juice will get my business!" howled another.

另外一名網(wǎng)友咆哮道：“我一直乘坐美聯(lián)航，并且基于價格而預(yù)訂，但是如果你們的價格和競爭者一樣，我會選擇能喝到番茄汁的航空公司。”

The airlines, which has had a few self-created public-relations disasters in the not too distant past, was wise enough to head off the outrage before it ascended to an even higher altitude.

The airline has now announced that the drink will be reinstated. It said on Twitter: "You say tomato. We say, we hear you. Tomato juice is here to stay. #letscallthewholethingoff."

美聯(lián)航目前已宣布保留番茄汁。該公司在推文中寫道：“你們要番茄汁，聽你們的，番茄汁保留。#讓此事告一段落。”
