小編的好友Bunny前一段時間得了重感冒,每天都精神不振的。她拖著重重的鼻音和我說:“我現(xiàn)在頭好暈啊,昏昏沉沉的。”
這句話,用英語說就是:“I feel dizzy. My head is swimming.”
Swim 除了本意“游泳”外,可以表示東西仿佛在旋轉(zhuǎn),眩暈。比如:
The room swam before her and she had to lie down again.
房間好像在她眼前旋轉(zhuǎn),她只得躺下。
The drink made his head swim.
這杯酒讓她頭暈?zāi)垦!?/p>
2. light-headed
生病頭暈和喝酒頭暈還可以用“light-headed”表示:
I was light-headed; I had not slept and I was hungry.
我頭暈,我沒合過眼,而且饑腸轆轆。
有一次呢,小編和Bunny一起去學(xué)校,她的鞋帶松了。她蹲下系好以后,很快站起來,不過她沒有立刻往前走,而是停了幾秒鐘。我問:“怎么了?(What's wrong?)”,她說:“起得太猛了,頭有點暈。”
這句話用英語表達(dá)就是:“I got a head rush from standing up too fast.”

3. Freak out
最后再說說“忙得令人崩潰的頭暈”怎么說。
前一段時間,小編也參加期末考了,復(fù)習(xí)得昏天黑地吶。好朋友Bunny又出現(xiàn)了,她說:“整本書都是重點!我真是頭昏腦脹,快崩潰了!”
“頭昏腦脹,快崩潰了”英語可以這樣說“My head is swimming. I'm freaking out!”
是的,Swim也可以用在這里。Freak out 就是崩潰,抓狂的意思。Freak out也有嚇壞,受驚的意思:
Snakes really freak me out.
我真的非常害怕蛇。(我看見蛇就嚇得半死。)
